The Challenge
Fifth Third Bank was using an outdated version of JetForm software, which had not been supported for years.
The bank urgently needed to replace the system with a solution that had active maintenance but wanted to minimize the impact of this migration on its existing infrastructure. Additionally, JetForm offered very limited functionalities, requiring the manual creation of electronic forms whenever new products were launched or updates were needed, leading to inefficiencies in the process.
The solution
DocPath was selected to perform the JetForm migration, providing a solution that seamlessly integrated into the bank’s existing environment.
DocPath’s approach included replacing the old program with a new executable called “Remote Generation Program” (RGP), which replicated JetForm’s parameters while leveraging the bank’s modern infrastructure.
The new program was configured to centralize the entire document generation process on servers in the bank’s IT center, eliminating the need to manually distribute software and forms to each branch.
Additionally, the conversion of electronic templates was carried out efficiently and with minimal conflicts, thanks to DocPath’s tools and technical expertise.

Fifth Third Bank was impressed with the smooth migration, which occurred without disruptions to the current environment and without requiring changes to existing applications.
Centralizing document generation significantly reduced the risk of human error and eliminated the use of outdated templates at the branches.
