• Total Control and Integrated Cycle, two DocPath solutions that were previously marketed independently, have been integrated into their Aspen solution to offer a more powerful document management tool with advanced capabilities.
Madrid, 1st of July, 2011 – DocPath, a company which specializes in the development of document software, has transformed its Aspen solution into a complete document management system. Thanks to the integration of two other DocPath solutions, which were marketed independently, the new Aspen solution is more powerful and offers a higher range of functionalities.
The merging of these three products has led to a new document management suite which brings together all the services necessary to ensure that users can optimize their document processes. DocPath helps companies reduce costs and optimizes time management, this in turn results in an increase in productivity. The new functionalities include controlled document distribution and capture capabilities for mass digitilization of documents.
“In DocPath we are constantly working to offer our customers the best possible service and the best possible solutions. True to this mission, today we introduce the new version of our document manager, Aspen, which is now much more powerful after the integration of Total Control and Integrated Cycle” said Julio A. Olivares, president and founder of DocPath. “With the merging of these three products we have enhanced the performance of our document manager, our clients will have access to a state-of-the-art system with a range of advanced capabilities which will resolve any need within the document management field” added Julio A. Olivares.
Powerful Document Manager
Aspen has been, since its inception, one of the flagships of DocPath document software thanks to the important technical possibilities it offers. This document manager allows storage of legacy documents and web-based queries. The main differentiating aspect of Aspen has always resided in its ability to store business data and forms in different versions independently, and their subsequent retrieval in real-time. This functionality allows companies to optimize their storage resources and achieve significant cost savings.
Now, with the integration of Integrated Cycle and Total Control within the Aspen document management system, the possibilities of this application have been maximized. Total Control provides this document manager with a method of controlled document distribution, this means companies can control all the information handled by third parties and also obtain information about all the actions carried out on certain documents. Depending on the user’s access privileges, users can perform all sorts of searches and actions on the obtained documents. For example, depending on the established security settings, employees can view the documents, but not save them, or they can open them but they cannot print them out, users can even apply a print scheduler. All these processes are registered and controlled by the organization.
“DocPath‘s new document management system goes beyond mere storage. This single solution offers a series of high-value features for use rs: real-time generation of documents which are perfect representations of the original printed documents , a method of controlled document distribution and capture capabilities, among many other possibilities. Aspen is the document management system that the market is asking for” said Julio A. Olivares.
Aspen, now with the benefits of DocPath Ipanema Technology™
All these capabilities have already been implemented into Aspen to provide users with advanced document management features. In order to further enhance the experience, throughout the second half of 2011 DocPath will release a new version of this product incorporating DocPath‘s Ipanema Technology, a fully collaborative, multi-platform and multilingual document design and generation environment announced recently by DocPath.
DocPath Ipanema Technology represents a revolution in document management software because users will no longer have to have technical backgrounds, this environment is so easy to use that any employee can use it. This technology provides a design environment which can be integrated with every day tools such as Word and Excel, it also includes intuitive visual interfaces ensuring user friendliness. Thanks to this core technology, the technical possibilities have been multiplied, and as a direct result so have the advantages of using Aspen.
