DANONE Success Story
Fast Integration of Cutting-Edge CCM Document Software Modules
Danone’s Situation
Food industry leader Danone Group was dealing with a legacy network of over 70 warehouses, each tasked with producing large volumes of shipping documents. As there was no centralized system to access these documents, all document management processes that directly affected the company’s relationship with its customers were slowed down.
Danone was looking for a solution that could help them centralize all the delivery notes from the 72 distribution centers and eight logistics bases from which they supply products to more than 40,000 Spanish retailers. They found their solution in DocPath, a leader in document software and CCM solutions.
Solution provided by DocPath
As DocPath is an expert in document software, focused on Customer Communications Management (CCM), we offered Danone the CCM solution they needed to address and solve the problems they were facing in managing their documents; problems that were deteriorating their relationship with their customers. DocPath offered them a set of document software modules that could be seamlessly integrated into their organization’s document management flow. This way, Danone automated its administrative process, achieving a more efficient and direct relationship with its customers.
Thanks to DocPath’s document software, any person in the organization, regardless of the department to which he/she belongs, can view documents simultaneously and generate files in PDF format (including both in-house and third-party delivery notes). In addition, the solution includes a professional document design tool that allows users to incorporate everything from barcodes to images and graphics into the dynamic templates.
Benefits for Danone
With DocPath, bills and shipping notes are generated much faster, and the generation speed of any other type of professional document also increased considerably. Danone also achieved greater output flexibility and can now export shipping notes in a variety of file formats. Another clear benefit is the substantial paper savings, since by using laser technology printers, which are faster and can print double-sided, there is no need to use large quantities of paper.
