The Importance of Quality

Starting from the premise that it is the customer who keeps a company running, it can be said that the main objective of any company should be to offer high-quality products and services that meet the needs of their customers. After all, it are the customers who purchase their products and services, and it will be the customers who recommend them, as long as their overall purchasing experience is positive.

Quality Certificates

Current market conditions are complicated, to say the least. There is fierce competition among companies, all struggling to stand out in their sector. A quality certificate, therefore, is fundamental as a differentiating factor, apart from being a formal recognition of the company´s continuous efforts to improve.

But, is it really so important to have a quality certificate? The answer is Yes. A certificate proves that a group of independent experts has reviewed and evaluated the production stages of a product or a service, and has concluded that the results meet the requirements.

When we buy a product or acquire a service offered by a company that possesses a certificate of quality, the company guarantees us, through its certificate, that its internal processes comply with previously established standards. In other words, a quality certificate is a guarantee for…quality.

Advantages of the Quality Certificate Seal

It is clear, therefore, that owning a quality certificate is advantageous, both to the company and to its customers. In fact, the main benefits are the following:

  • Increased consumer confidence. The implementation of a Quality System may persuade a client to purchase a product or acquiring a service.
  • Enhanced customer satisfaction. If the customer has a positive experience, then there is a good chance that said customer will return for additional business, demonstrating his/her loyalty to the brand.
  • Standing out from the competition. The company holds a competitive advantage over other companies in the same sector that are not certified.
  • Continuous improvement of the company´s internal management. By following guidelines and pre-established work patterns, the company reduces its error margins, which, in turn, provides other advantages, such as cost savings, increased profit and higher productivity levels.
  • Improved company image. A quality product or service conveys a professional corporate image, which improved the company´s position in the market. The better the reputation, the more likely prospects are to purchase the product.
  • Access to new markets. The global nature of quality certificates opens doors to new international markets.
  • Motivated staff. A key asset of any company are its employees. Employees should actively participate in the internal processes of the company.

In short, today, implementing a Quality Management System is considered a key factor for the survival of a company and has become a business strategy for any type of business.
