Atlanta (GA), November 17 2015 – DocPath, a leading provider of innovative document software, participated last October 1st in the Technological Mission organized by the CDTI and the FINEP in Brazil.

As part of the 1st Bilateral Call for Proposals between the CDTI (Center for the Development of Industrial Technology of Spain) and the FINEP (Funding Authority for Studies and Projects of Brazil), organized with the objective of promoting support and funding of technologically innovative projects, DocPath, a leading document software company, was invited to attend the Technological Mission held last October 1st between Brazilian and Spanish organizations in Río de Janeiro. A total of 18 companies with offices in Spain, including DocPath, participated in the business event, which intended to identify fields of interest shared by attending Spanish and Brazilian organizations.

Event Phases

The Bilateral Call for Proposals will be held in two phases. First, the two institutions (CDTI and FINEP) will perform a joint assessment of the international project and issue a bilateral project certification. In a second phase, the financing of participating companies will be allocated and approved, both in Spain and Brazil, following the formal requirements set forth by the CDTI and the FINEP.

DocPath, in collaboration with a Brazilian innovating IT firm still to be determined, will present a project that meets the specified requirements, among others:

  • Developing a technology in prototype or pilot phase.
  • Setting a base knowledge for a technological solution in at least a Lab stage.
  • Performing a technological development with potential for commercial purposes (i.e. a product, process or service).
